The ambiance had a pleasant vibe, making it a nice place to relax, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure a great dining experience. However, the food itself was disappointing, with the highlight being the Jerk Chicken, which was flavorful but not enough to redeem the overall meal. Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 5 Went for date night on a beautiful Friday evening. I had called ahead to get a table by the window so we could watch the sunset that was beautiful. I was disappointed with how slow service was waitress did not check in. Once our food finally came out waters were quickly out because of how spicy our dishes were but my husband finally (after 25 min of no sign on waitress) took it upon himself to ask the bar for more water. Overall — good food, and will probably go again but the slow service and wait time for food was a turn off.
The service was excellent and the food was good but didn?t fully live up to our expectations. We ordered the scallops for our appetizer cooked well but all the seasoning was in a very thin gravy that didn?t catch on to the scallops, for entrees we gotthe jerk pork loin was overcooked and tough but the rice that came and the flavors were great, and the curried goat cookedperfectly, soft and well seasoned. The cocktails were potent but taste wise they fell a bit flat.
Hidden gem!!! Wow! We ordered the ruck pig dogs with risotto as a substitute for the curry goat shell. I can only say "wow"! Kudos to Chef Jason! The presentation was outstanding! As for dessert, you must try the rum cake bowl. It serves three people: Husband (Chambers), Wife (Jennifer), and DJ. Kudos to Chef Jason; you’ve made it onto my list of favorites! Our group shared a few appetizers and a main course, along with a couple of drinks. The food was fantastic, especially the sauces that accompanied the various dishes. The staff was friendly and attentive. We dined in for dinner, and the price per person was around $20–30.
