Gasthof Zur Rose - Réservation de table

Based on good reviews here and elsewhere on the Internet, my partner and I went to Gasthof Rose in Oberflockenbach for lunch. We came at 12:40 and the place was full. Since we had no reservations, we were sent to the next room, which was not a problem for us. We ordered at 12:50, my partner the cheese noodles (including side salad) and I the Hungarian goulash (including noodles, vegetables and a side salad). While we waited for our apple splashes, a waiter came and asked if the three beers were on his tray for us, but they were on another table. If someone loves traditional cuisine, he's here. Here is still cooked, i.e. fresh vegetables here peas and carrots) fresh, in a light flour sweat, the pommes were a poem, cherry, well tanned in little! Fat, the Odenwald cattle steers a pleasure, tender, medium on the point, sharply fried as you love his steak. Self-made crimp butter that fits perfectly. And finally, a hunter's lap that has no MAGGI. Not to mention the soup. Wildsüppchen mit Eifoam. Delicious. A food that deserves the name of the homemade traditional cuisine. Respect. Thanks to the Rose restaurant for the great food and the beautiful afternoon.

My brother lived in Oberflockenbach for 3 years and every time we visited we tried to eat at the Rose (I think the sign says Zum Rose or Zur Rose). Was not always open, but when it was it was the best! The number one dish was the Chateaubriend, but as I remember you had to call ahead, especially if they were busy. The potato croketens were fabulous. Highly recommended.

This inn has far exceeded my expectations! The food was fantastic - the ambience unbeatable! I also need the cleanliness of the toilets at this point and!!! the fact that there is a clean, well equipped winding table! Unfortunately, as a young mother, I have learned that this is of course not a matter! We come back and look forward to it. Réservez une table maintenant

Very nice welcome dinner had excellent 2 dogs with the very kind greetings were the opinion about the staff that it is unfriendly, I cannot share at all if someone from the pesonal had seen me with my two dogs directly open the door all the tip I can only recommend that I definitely did not spend my last vacation

I loved the rustic charm of this place. I thought it was a bit loud when children walk in and out. It took an unusually long time before our food arrived. It was the day of mothers and do not think they were adequately staffed. The meal was... well worth waiting.
