I ordered a veggie skillet through Uber Eats and found bacon in it. When I called to report the issue, the person on the phone kept asking if I was sure it wasn't just a tomato or mushroom. After some back-and-forth, she finally agreed to remake my order, despite arguing that it couldn’t possibly be bacon, even after I provided photo proof. To top it off, she tried to guilt-trip me by saying that the new order would come out of the cook's pay. What kind of place does that? Another server even had the nerve to stop by and say it was just a small piece, implying that having bacon in a veggie dish isn't a big deal. News flash: it is. Seriously shaking my head at this experience.
The restaurant is planning to move, so there won’t be any improvements made in the meantime. The condition of the booth fabric is quite poor, with most of it being torn, and the cleanliness of the tables and floors could use some attention. However, the food is good, and you certainly get generous portions. I do wonder about the freshness of the bread served since some of it seems a bit stale. The garlic bread is definitely not fresh. On a positive note, the desserts are really delicious.
I visited the new location for the first time yesterday and found the restaurant to be beautiful. However, I ordered the hot turkey sandwich, and it was completely overwhelmed by an excessive amount of gravy. Eating it was a real challenge! The gravy lacked flavor, though the turkey itself was good. My server noticed me trying to scrape the gravy off the turkey and potatoes and kindly offered to replate the dish, but it was still a frustrating experience. I won't be ordering that again.
This diner offers a wide variety of classic menu items. I really enjoy the all-day breakfast since I can have it whenever I want. The portions are quite large—I often find myself taking leftovers home because I can't finish everything in one meal. The wait staff is superb as well; they're friendly and attentive. This place is really good and the atmosphere is pleasant. So far, the 3 times I've gone, the staff has been very friendly. I did come up with an issue regarding my last visit with my kids but the serving staff was fast to resolve my issue. I am very grateful for their help and accommodations.
