I have visited this restaurant over 30 times and there have been very few occasions that the staff have not been rude to either myself or to other customers in the restaurant. I have seen and many of my friends who have visited the restaurant have also seen that they put more time and effort and are more polite when serving white customers than the other indians in the restaurant. Although the food is tasty, they have overcharged us many times. The waiters are very friendly and as helpful as can be but the people who own the restaurant and answer the phone have a very bad attitude. If you are going to visit the restaurant be sure to check the double check the bill before paying.
I only went there as they are vegetarian. staff talk when you ask for your food. staff and the owners or should i say managers laugh at us. our kids had been waiting there for 1 hour and others were being served. I think only because they might be of Indian origin and not me. But my message to them is i know Indian languages. they made fun of our way of talking and my protest fell on deaf hears. best is i wont go to such cheap roadside restaurants. I am pretty sure the staff was abusing us but who cares. be careful when you go there and specially if you go with a child. these people are heartless.
I don't understand all these negative reviews! Myself and my partner regularly visit Rose for a delicious meal (veg Kohlapuri, soya Keema Koya kaju are our favourites) and have been ordering takeaways during lockdown. The orders are always correct (no onion or garlic) and the food is absolutely lovely. It is a simple canteen style restaurant, the portions are huge and staff are nice respectful. My partner has been coming here for 18 years and it never disappoints!
I hope that the takeout orders are helping to keep the restaurant in business. I was surprised at how empty it was during lunchtime on a weekday, but it suited us well as it allowed for better social distancing and there was no delay in service. The food was good, but I did find it a bit pricey compared to other restaurants in Wembley.

I cook and eat a lot of Indian and especially like South Indian cuisine. The choice of well over 100 dishes here is superb and the imagination and variety of dishes are sublime. This cafe style restaurant is one of the best I have been too and resembles closely my eating experiences in India.
I had a terrible experience at the Rose Restaurant. The woman who appeared to be the owner was very rude and aggressive, which made our visit unpleasant. Other customers also had similar experiences and felt sorry for how we were treated. The staff were dismissive and condescending as well.
I have been dining at this restaurant for more than five years. Despite the basic appearance when you walk in, the food is always delicious and the portions are the largest in North London. However, the service could use some improvement as it can be lacking at times.
Lovely little cafe. No nonsense honest tasty traditional Indian street food, without the fuss and frills. Have visited this place several times and never disappoints. Best Indian tea around and I've tried many others in London, but this one wins hands down.

I don’t know what to say every one wants to run a business and make it to the top, but this place has failed, I use to have a shop opposite so many years ago and we had to be on our toes for repeat customers
