Bad business practice to demand a specific amount for tip from the customer. Very presumptuous of you to tell me what to leave the driver, without saying my total and BEFORE the food even arrived! Over 20% tip for delivery is ludicrous. Are you not paying your employees appropriately? Why are you pressuring your customers to do that for you? That is very alarming and inconsiderate. AND after tipping that much, the food took over 1.5 hours for a 5 mile drive... Disappointing.
Reordered the grilled veggie tray as I’ve ordered previously and it was delicious. Not sure if this time a different chef made it, but it was a sloppy mess . The veggies were not actually grilled or seasoned. Looked like they were just cooked on the stove top. Love Roses-but really disappointed this time. One of the best places in the area. Our business orders there frequently. Food is great!! Service and the people are very friendly. The hoagie was delicious. The staff was friendly and efficient. We opted for takeout for our dinner. The price per person was between $10 and $20. The food and service both earned a rating of 4, while the atmosphere was rated 3. A recommended dish is the South Philly hoagie.
