Rosso Pizzeria Wine

Wonderful food and atmosphere. As soon as you step inside, you'd have no idea you were in a strip mall. Simple but wonderful decore'. Open and airy, yet still intimate. I've been here a number of times but today I've decided to leave a review. My son and I are on a mission to visit every pizza restaurant in Santa Rosa. Last night Rosso's was due for our visit. We arrived at 5:30 and found the place mostly empty. We sat at the long bar where there was seating for probably 15. Soccer was on the TV, but upon request, the bartender switch to game 1 of the World Series (come on, I had to ask for that? This is my go-to spot for a nice dinner with friends. The food is consistently excellent, and I appreciate that they feature a different house bruschetta each time we visit. However, my favorite part has to be the wine flights. It's such a fun experience to sample a variety of wines for a fixed price, and then order a small carafe to accompany our meal. The in-house sommelier is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, adding to the experience with his humor. I absolutely love this place and will definitely continue to return!

This is usually not the type of restaurant I would go to, but after reading the reviews, people seemed their pizza and what is better than a wooden fire pizza? You have a few selected beers on tap and a few more in the bottle just in case you want to grab some food, but are not in the whole wine bar thing. Pizza was great and would be the perfect size to share with someone. Very cool atmosphere and the bartender was very nice and welcoming.

Amazing Pizza! Tried the Goomba and July 2020 seasonal pie with corn and chorizo. Both were great, but the Seasonal was standout. I can't wait to try whatever chef come up with next. The bar is beautiful when open and they have a great selection of wines. Can't wait to get back and try more of the menu!

The welcome was absolutely lovely, and it was wonderful to dine outdoors with my dog. The food was hearty and satisfying, and the wine was delightful. Just go and enjoy yourself!

The pizza was delicious and packed with toppings, and the beet salad was so excellent that we finished it before I even had a chance to take pictures!
