Was my first time here for lunch on Dec 7, 2022. I work down the street from this place. I ordered a burrito de carne asada and 2 tacos al pastor. If you are a big burrito person this isn't the place. The burrito was regular size burrito. They do not use the big sonoran four tortilla. The street tacos are not big, just big enough for two bites. Taco Al pastor was a bit greasy. Each taco will run you like almost 2 dollars/ same price as if you were getting off the street reasonable size tortilla with a good portion. The tacos were small compared to TJ street tacos. Iam undecided if I'll be back after spending close to 14 dollars.
My co-worker and I finally decided to order from this restaurant based on the positive reviews we had seen, but oh boy! It’s only about a mile from our workplace, so I went for something straightforward: huevos rancheros. Unfortunately, the eggs were overcooked on the tortilla, and the rice and beans had absolutely no flavor. To make matters worse, the avocado was old! It felt like the chef didn’t care at all about the quality of what they were serving. This could seriously make people sick! Honestly, it's the worst Mexican restaurant I've ever been to!
I ordered the nachos, but they didn’t include any limes or toppings. There was hardly any cheese on them, and instead of guacamole, I just got some sliced avocado on top. There was no pico de gallo, just plain tomatoes. The carne asada was decent, although there were some chewy pieces that didn’t taste great, while others were quite good. The price was about 40% higher than what the menu showed six months ago. The green salsa was bland, but the red salsa was quite tasty.
No wonder the guy looked at me strangely when I asked for extra salsa. I ordered two shredded beef tacos, but they were barely the size of one taco from another place, and they cost almost five dollars each. It's absolutely ridiculous and a total rip-off. It would be one thing if the quality of the food compensated for the price, but unfortunately, the quality was terrible as well. What should have been a satisfying meal left me feeling like I had just a child's snack.

I've only tried their burritos, they are tasty and the salsa is great, but the size of the burrito keeps getting smaller. My office is close by and I've been eating here for the past four years, but the last three times I've eaten here I left hungry. I've stopped coming for now and drive a little farther if I want a burrito.
Perfect mom and pops joint! Authentic Mexican food. Amazing food! Amazing salsas amazing people! Definitely recommend to anyone seeking a quick and delicious meal!
Great tacos and even better service! The owner and his daughter are awesome. Highly recommend for some quality affordable tacos.
