We enjoyed our dinner last Friday, it was "Poutine Week" here and we had a gloriously delicious appetizer with the signature Poutine: homemade BBQ sauce, local cheese, locally raised pork sausage, over crispy fries, all delicious. Half-portion poutine for an appetizer is just fine. The...fried calamaris were up to it too, crispy and tender. Homemade mayo with it, yummy. The burgers are plentiful, choosing among a wide range of meat, and wild games. Would go back, service was great, from front door to check, friendly and quick, within an hour all was done and eaten . :o) Bistrot atmosphere, quaint and comfy.
Awesome food! We ordered online (for pick up). There was a combo where you would get 2 classic burgers with 2 local beers. It was just the perfect combination. I obviously haven't tried every burger in town, but in my experience, it was the best burger I ate in Chicoutimi and easily one of the best burgers I ate in a while. Highly recommend!
The place is full of noise, crowds, smells, and beer. The food is good, service good but slow because of the crowds. difficult if you don't speak french. I would not go there again, but only because this is not my type of place....The younger crowd obviously love it. Parking is hard to find on the street.
I have eaten the elusive burger the world over, and this rates with the best of the best. If you like rare, you can rest assured that you can have a rare burger here without thinking twice. Fresh ingredients, excellent prep, superior seasoning, etc. Tres...Magnifique!!!

Went in on a week day, and was the only two people in the restaurant, although the food was great, I was really disappointed about the service, over an hour to get food on the table! Ouch!
Had a very good steak there. Personnel friendly, smiling and accommodating. Good atmosphere, with a few televisions around and comfortable sitting. Will eat there again for sure.
Nice atmosphere. Good location. Good burger but nothing outstanding given the price. Good selection of beer. Service was slow. Found it expensive for what it is.
I went their because I love burgers. I wasn’t disappointed. You build your own. I had a Poutine with their own sauce, it was very tasteful. Good ambiance.

We really enjoyed our burger over here. The only thing what could be better is an english menu, but our waitress translated good enough!
Had a lovely lunch, the Rouge is next to Hotel Chicoutimi which is great as I was staying in the hotel
