So here is my first experience at the diner. After hearing about this establishment for a few years, I finally made it in for a taste.I entered the building, immediately noticed the amazing selection of ? ? pie and cheesecake ? ?I was seated to a nice booth with a view of the nostalgic music history! ?Order taken, coffee delivered with the food, sounds good to me..... but then never checked on again. I nudged the coffee cups to the edge of the table asked for a another cup but nothing, even heard the one lady mention for a round of coffee with the fresh pot on the warmer...... anyways food was ok just the lack of service was the reason for the rating. I'll probably give it a go in a while......

There was a line out the door, the parking lot was full and once you got in, the place was freezing.Food came quickly and was so-so. Not the best breakfast food I've had, but portions were good and the price reflects what you get.Servers were awesome, but there weren't enough of them for how busy it was. Had to ask for coffee refills. They came for the refill after I finished my meal.I'm surprised the place was as busy as it was. Honestly, if you want a great breakfast experience at a local diner, try Haps on the west end. They're fantastic.

Have you ever wondered what the 50's, 60's and 70's were about? Or what the food was like back then? Well for those who DO NOT know, check out Route 99 Diner for sure! It has 50's, 60's and 70's memorabilia everywhere you look, and the food is awesome!! You're in for a treat in this place, The shakes are dreamy, burgers are meaty and the fries are crispy!!....Go for it..Enjoy!! ??????????

Very decent diner food. I went old school with a beef barley soup to start and liver and onions main course. The other meal was a vegetarian pizza (I know it’s weird). The soup was good. Liver was great and the fries were overcooked. The pizza was cold upon arrival at the table. The service was excellent and the charm of the old diner can’t be dismissed.

Edmonton 's greatest 'greasy spoon. ' The food comes out fast, is inexpensive, and exactly what you want to cure a hangover, go out with friends for a casual meal, or just to grab a coffee. The staff is great and personable even when it gets busy for them. Recommended, it 's exactly what you want out of a diner.

Locally owned and operated .. love the food the service was great. We went there because my co worker wanted to go as your.portion size is big as well. No discrimination on me and im a white guy from newfoundland. Will definately go back there again

Very good breakfast! Parking lot was a little tight but we managed to find a spot. Eggs Benedict was fantastic as was the farmers breakfast. Pancakes were very fluffy and crispy and one of the best I’ve had around the city. Highly recommended.

This is one of the 'top ten ' greasy spoons I 've ever been to...it was quite tasty! I don 't generally eat breakfast daily, but if I lived closer, I would certainly eat breakfast here more often. Thanks!
