Stopped by Royal Farms today to check it out try some of the famous gas station chicken. The two pieces of dark chicken biscuit (i subbed for dinner roll) were great. The fries were a little soggy, but I think as a result of being in closed box with fresh hot chicken (worth it). Would recommend the ranch dipping sauce if you're into that. They have a seating area inside and out. The convenience store offers the usual goodies, though no fountain diet Dr. Pepper, wish they had those soda fountain pick your flavor machine. Don't forget to sign up for the rewards app if you're going to get coffee or gas regularly. Looking forward go trying the fresh iced coffee, which I've never seen offered any...
The place is brand new and clean. We ordered from the kiosk. We ordered sausage, egg and cheese burritos. The burritos came with peppers and hash brown fries we did not order. Also did not receive a chicken tender we ordered to sample Rofo chicken. Sausage biscuit was not great. We were not that impressed with the food. However the staff at check out was very friendly and energetic. This location also has a Krispy Kreme donut station and they have a variety of beer as well.
I'm not usually big on leaving bad reviews but I think the general manager of this place should be ashamed. The trash cans are always overflowing. There is trash all over the parking lot. The doors to go in and out are so nasty that I avoid going insideat all. I only stop here when I really need gas in a pinch. How hard is it to wipe down the doors and take out the trash ?
The manager at Royal Farms needs to take responsibility for the poor quality of food being served. The chicken was rubbery and completely unappetizing—I'm not joking. It felt like they were simply reheating yesterday's leftovers, leaving them in the warmer for far too long, and charging high prices for food that doesn’t even compare to KFC or Popeyes on their menu.

Manager should be fired for letting their employees serve that ?food?. The chicken was as hard as rubber and I?m not exaggerating. It feels like they reheat the same chicken from the day before after it has been baking in the warmer all day andnight and then charge you a premium for food that is 100x worse than KFC or Popeyes.
I ordered regular chicken strips.. I received the spicy strips. I took a bite and that was the driest chicken I've ever consumed. It was so hard I couldn't even chew it. Seems like a choking hazard, right? It must've been sitting out all day. Safeto say I will not be ordering food from this location again.
I urge you to avoid serving expired food in an effort to reduce costs. On my last two visits, either the biscuit, egg, or sausage was noticeably not fresh. Please keep in mind the principle of First In, First Out. Food safety should always come first.
They did it again! The chicken wasFantastic! The wedges were delicious! I also got him a sandwich for lunch, along with a gallon of milk for breakfast, some snacks, and candy... it makes life so much easier, and it all tastes great!

The fried chicken strips are fantastic! You can easily grab dinner, milk, snacks, and lunch items all in one go. It's a wonderful experience!
