Went to the Royal Garden for a family meal. We've been many times in the past with no issues. This time, the whole experience was poor. We ordered starters, then waited 30 minutes for starters that never arrived. When we asked, they didn't know what had happened to them so we had to order again. When the starters finally arrived, the order was wrong, and one of the items was cold. Not just lukewarm, but actually stone cold in the middle. The young lad serving us was apologetic, but the older woman who appeared to be in charge was abrasive and rude. We weren't made to feel welcome. When paying, I mentioned the problems (30-minute wait for food, having to order a course twice, wrong order, cold food). I asked for a reduction in the bill. The older woman refused. Her excuse was that we got our food eventually and that it wasn't just us; other people had to wait as well! Because of the problems, the whole meal took 2 hours. The young waiter waitress that served us were great, but the people in charge didn't seem to care that customers were not having a good time. Not once were we asked if we wanted to order more drinks. Really disappointing. We won't be back.
