I was trying to find a place to go using the entertainment book. I like to research before going to a restaurant for the first time. This place had decent reviews but mainly a decent website with a menu!! I had a wonderful dinner at Royal Thai, everything was perfect! The restaurant was quiet however it was a quiet week night. The staff were excellent and the meals were delicious!!! I couldn't finish mine as the servings were huge so they offered to put it in a takeaway container for me which I took as lunch to work the next day. The atmosphere was lovely and inviting. The music was a little repetitive however I really enjoyed it so it was a plus for me. I would definitely recommend this place to others, either dine in or take away!!
Ordered some takeaway including a prawn curry, a vegetable penang curry and prawn cakes. When I got home I discovered that the prawn and the vegetable curries were both in the same sauce. When I phoned they said I could bring the prawn curry back to exchange for the correct curry. No offer of a free curry given the inconvenience and that they wouldn't have been able to do anything with the exchanged one anyway. The prawn cakes were also overcooked. Unfortunately not a great experience in service or food

We booked this place and is situated a little further away from the main Elizabeth Street Restaurant strip. That makes it a bit easier to actually find a car spot.It was not too busy so you may get away with no booking during the week yet reckon weekends would require thinking ahead. The meals were very tasty indeed. Service was very good. The one waitress on duty was kept fairly busy with orders in-house and for takeway. Reasonably priced too
Old night in Hobart but the meal really warmed us up. Good spicy Thai food without being too hot. The selection of entrees was plentiful with some different takes on traditional Thai offerings. Good select of mains across all seafood and meat and their wine and beer list was quite good as well. Our waitress was very friendly and made the night even more enjoyable.
Have been ordering take away from this restaurant for 3 years, I am totally happy with their services and the quality of food. So yum! I love Pad Thai and their Karee Pub.Thank you for being here for us, Hobart to have a very fancy nice Thai cuisine at home.
Il suffit de courir et a ramassé le retrait à Hobart et était très impressionné. Couper de nourriture et vraiment rapide! Je recommanderais également que je suis un légume et il y avait une grande sélection - Tofu avec la sauce aux arachides - si bien.

We dine at Royal Thai every few months as it is my 5yos favourite restaurant. The food is always delicious and service friendly. This is a great restaurant for a couple, family or group of friends.
The food was lovely and the waitress that served us was very polite. Fast service and fresh colourful dishes.
