I've been following this place online for months from 1200 miles away!! Finally moved to the area and had the chance to swing in for some eats. First off, I pulled into the parking lot and it was half full of police cars, I knew the food was good, always eat where the police and firemen eat, they know all the good local joints. We are visiting Savannah for 10 days and this has been my favorite place I have eaten yet. The food is excellent but the customer service surpasses the food (if that is possible). It was me and my two toddlers and everyone was so accommodating and helpful. My son is an outgoing kid and decided to be a door greeter and the lady at the counter was so kind and generous and gave him a couple dollars from the tip jar for a job well done. Man talk about making a kid’s day! Definitely a family favorite and probably the only meal my picky toddler completely finished. Hoping to fit in one last visit before we have to head back home. I was excited to visit this restaurant after reading the reviews. When we arrived, we noticed Georgia State Troopers parked outside who had just finished eating. They were super nice guys. We ordered ribs, brisket, and pulled pork. The ribs were the best I have ever had, with the perfect combination of smoke and spices and a tender, fall-off-the-bone texture. The pulled pork was also delicious, with a generous portion of meat on the sandwich. However, the brisket was unfortunately dry and only rated a 2-star. The sides were all tasty. I would definitely return to this restaurant, but I would stick to the ribs or pork next time.
Ya 'll, my hubby 's one of the best when it comes to smoking meats. He 's been doin it for over 40 yrs. So when we do dine out on BBQ, I 've never been impressed, like seriously,never...until now! In most places, their meat ain 't so yummy, so they rely on the sauce to enhance the taste of their meats. NOT here at Roy 's! Yes, they offer sauces (Love that fat girl one!! LOL!! but the meat tastes fantastic all on it 's own. We also had the slaw and mac n cheese....YUM!! Ya 'll, make your day a GOOD day and eat here, seriously. If they offered more than 5 stars, I 'd of given more.

I've never had a bad experience at Roy's. The food is always impeccable and the service is warm and friendly. My favorite is the Southern Mac with brisket. Get the Jalepenos.I respect their choice on hours because it gets them the best quality, but I do somehow seem to think of eating there on days that they're closed. My recommendation? Definitely give these guys a follow on Instagram. They're usually pretty good at updating their schedule there, AND you get to drool on your phone screen.
My husband and I recently tried Roy's BBQ and we were absolutely blown away. The burnt ends were mouthwatering and the Brunswick stew and BBQ hash were equally delicious. The service was top-notch, making our experience even better. The variety of sauces offered was a nice touch, although the meat was flavorful enough on its own. We will definitely be returning to Roy's as regular customers from now on!
This is now my favorite restaurant. My husband and I stopped by one day just to take a look and ended up leaving with a lot of food. Since we were new, the staff was very patient with us and even allowed us to sample some side dishes before we made our decision. We have been hooked ever since! I would highly recommend this place, we give it a 10 out of 10 rating.
Roy's Nutz Buttz catered our company picnic. They were amazing at turn. Mandy was so helpful. The food was amazing. My faves were the brisket and mac n cheese. We took home some left over and created BBQ brisket mac n cheese. You absolutely cannot go wrong with Roy's Nutz And Buttz!

I'm sitting in here right now. That was one of the absolute best pulled pork sandwhiches I've ever had. The smokin hot bbq sauce is incredible. The Brunswick stew is outstanding! The fact I could get double Brunswick stew as a side made me so happy.
Incredibly good. The owner walked us through all their food and how they made it. True southern cooking with a lot of heart and soul. They even let us sample some wings on our way out. Some of the best bbq I've had.
