What a well run, friendly staff excellent food restaurant. Breakfast delicious hash browns with cheddar yummy. Then had to have to go as no room to eat after breakfast Big As Your Head cinnamon bun, honest to goodness what a treat hmm so well made...lots of good and cream cheese icing on the side. Could be a last meal if imprisoned lol. Not fast food all made from owner red seal chefs recipes prepared with love. We had steak sandwiches done to our liking, served with homemade fries and coleslaw seasoned with dill. As we sat, I watched good orders coming out taco soup, huge sandwiches ect. Get the drift. we took care of something new on our tour through the south of alberta. came over roys place to dinner. the waiting staff was friendly and ready to serve. they repeated the same to only about any client training or limited social skills? Our main course was good and came fast. many people enjoy their dinner, whether it was fish and chips, steak sandwich or other family-friendly food. our great surprise was dessert. a zimtbunker in an 8x8 pan. wow, is everything I can say! we couldn't finish it and take the rest for another day after home. beautiful made roys place
We brought my terminally ill mother here, and the reasturant was not very wheelchair accessible. There are no automated doors in the front or in the bathroom.Some of the staff were very sarcastic and rude. When we asked the wrong server for something, she snapped at us that she was not waiting our table and was off her shift soon. When I went to pay I could not find anyone and we waited a long time to pay. Overall, we felt like a nuisance to the staff.The food was good, and the restaurant was clean, but unfortunately, the overall experience was very poor.
Tried to eat there on Sunday July 31. Got there at around 3:00pm. Sigh on door says closed on Herirage day but nothing about closing at 3:00 on Sunday. Waitress stated we should of called ahead. Rude blonde. However, my husband was not very polite...because he was expecting to eat at a You Gotta Eat Here restruant. If your looking up their restaurant today it will say its open... NOT. Save yourself the trip because you never know if they are open. Réservez une table maintenant
This place is just awesome! The service is super warm and friendly. The atmosphere is great with lots of funny frames around and the food is incredible. Generous portions, amazing quality and great prices! I had the shrimp tacos with a side Caesar salad and everything was super flavourful and fresh! You HAVE to try their famous cinnamon buns. They’re to die for! The best I’ve ever had ?
Roy's was a good choice for breakfast heading to Lake Louise. Typical diner food, nice and simple. They are known for their cinnamon rolls, which are gigantic. We took one with us and shared it for breakfast the next day... and had enough for another snack.Staff was great. Our server was busy, so others came around with coffee, etc. You won't be sorry to make a pit stop at Roy's Place.
