Myself and one other customer in there waiting. Not busy at all. An order was shouted out ready which was pretty inaudible. I assumed it was mine. Drove home and realised it wasn’t my order so drove back and was greeted by the most miserable person ever who shouted at me that it was my fault. I’ve used Ruby’s quite a few times and always thought the guy behind the counter is miserable and feisty, but this experience has proved that he has no customer service whatsoever! I will never use this place again! If you use this place you will 100% be greeted by a grumpy man with no manners or respect to any of his customers. Definitely do not recommend going here.
Ordered delivery Saturday night It came within the timescale. It was hot but it had obviously been thrown together quickly. Sweet sour chicken balls batter was not cooked properly. Chicken curry extra hot was nothing like previous ones singapore vermicelli was awful definitely not up to the standard I have had in the past from Rubys. Such a shame as we always used Ruby's reccomended it to others.
Disgusted! Been using Ruby’s for a little while. Not anymore! They increased their prices, they now charge £2.50 per pot of sauce!! That’s £5 for 2 pots of sauce? So when most of the public are being furloughed, or are struggling due to COVID these A holes want MORE money from you, baring in mind, they haven’t had to close AT ALL through the pandemic! I’ll take my custom elsewhere! Rude!
After a long time of avoiding Chinese food due to past bad experiences, I decided to take a chance on this restaurant. I'm glad I did, as the food was delicious with generous portions. The price was very reasonable as well. I ordered a spring roll, soup, curry, and rice, and it was all delicious.

I ordered king prawn curry and got the ruby surprise of my life of special chow mien when I got home Their customer Service is nil. Offered a right order if bring it back n pay extra for curry. Yeah right. Sorry will just take my custom else where Terrible n over priced won’t be going back
The food at this restaurant was absolutely terrible, with gloopy and undercooked chicken. Despite having a good reputation in the past, the quality has significantly declined. Even dogs would struggle to eat here. Overall, not a good experience at all.
What has gone wrong … usually lovely but now the szechaun is bright red no original beans or heat the sweet sour gloopy . Have been a customer for 15 years or more but never again … get a new chef as something has changed drastically
The chicken and duck dishes were obviously rushed as the meat was raw. The manager offered to collect the first order and re cook the food but, the food standard agency should investigate them.

The chicken chow mein was slimy and flavorless, the service was poor, and we felt like we were shortchanged. The chicken balls were a decent portion size but overly greasy.
Called to check latest I could come and collect food was told 22:30 got there 21:50 closed. Not amused!!
