We were recommended this restaurant so were expecting the usual good quality, super German politeness and service, however, we were rather disappointed with our first visit. We arrived around 13.00, leaving time for the locals who always eat at 12.00 midday, but the main restaurant and a side room were still fully occupied. We were seated in a new extension, a bit isolated from the main bar/restaurant area, completely by ourselves. This was a good thing, perhaps, because 1) the restaurant was very noisy and warm 2) we were seated at the huge window overlooking farm buildings and gardens, and we could talk in peace. For my taste somewhat too much pepper in the risotto, otherwise delicious and sometimes something else. Prices Swiss level. Service nice and accommodating.
