First time ever at a Russian restaurant! Wish we had one where I'm from. The waiter was very helpful at pointing out true traditional dishes. Had the following Pirozhki with beef filling...filo baked stuffed dough.... Excellent Borscht soup... I love it but this was better than I've had in the past... Full of cabbage and beef chunks! Mantis:. Steamed dumplings stuffed with lamb and veggies... Oh my! I couldn't finish it Ended with a flight of 5 infused vodkas. If
My favorite market in the area with goods from Europe and Central Asia! The smoked sardines in oil are amazing. They have a great selection of preserves, Russian beers, wine, and more . I always get the tvorog (cottage cheese) and caviar. I woulddefinitely recommend this place very well organized and staff are nice. They also have some great souvenirs from Russia like theMatryoshka nesting dolls.
Rus Uz is by far the most cost effective Russian restaurant in the DC area. The staff speaks both Russian and English, and the food is excellent. Both Russian and Uzbek dishes are represented. The restaurant is clean and features both indoor and outdoor seating. Less than a five minute walk from the Ballston metro station makes it easily accessible.
Absolutely love this place. Definitely a great place if your looking to have some European food. Wasn?t your average spot, which was exactly what we wanted! Had the beef stroganoff it was fantastic. The flavored vodka was great, they were out of some flavors so were hoping to try them next time we go in. Réservez une table maintenant
Rus Uz Arlington Market is definitely one of my favorite markets in the area. Especially the cashier lady is very friendly and knowledgeable. She always helps me to find the items that I need. If you are a Russian speaker, she can speak Russian very well????
My first time trying Russian/Uzbekistan food and they are delicious! Very flavorful, not fatty whatsoever, and everything is balanced properly from flavors and overall presentation. Highly recommend it!!
I bought cottage cheese, porridge, candy in this store. The products were fresh. I am very satisfied. I live nearby, so I visit this store often. I recommend it to everyone. All products are good.
