3 of us had dinner there for the first time. The hostess tried to seat us in the basement but I requested we sit upstairs where there are windows. She was very accommodating. I was disappointed that there are so few mocktails they offer and the bartender wasn’t able to make a raspberry lime Rickey. Yet my bolognese was delicious, as was my husband’s chopped salad. Dinner portions are a decent size.
Came for Saturday brunch with friends. I've been here many times for both dinner and brunch, and have always found it to be a well-run restaurant. This time I had the breakfast sandwich with a spicy ****** Mary. Both were delicious. Others at the table enjoyed their meals too. Service was prompt and efficient. The Russell House is one of the best destinations for brunch in Harvard Square.
We were sat in the bar area where it was super loud filled with guys for a work gathering. We were not offered a more quiet place to sit and our server was inattentive and rushed us. The food was great for the value. Next time I go I’ll be sure to ask to be seated downstairs in the main dining area!
What a great find! The food was prepared perfectly and completely delicious. One member of our group had a non-alcoholic cocktail that was a cut above the usual offerings. Will definitely be back. Réservez une table maintenant
We had a wonderful anniversary celebration before heading to the ART for a performance of Gatsby — Michelle was wonderful in helping us select dishes — we will be back again soon :
Food was good, waited almost 30 minutes for our table and they said it wasn’t their fault they couldn’t get the people to leave who were seated at our table before us.
Lovely warm welcome from everyone our server was delightful. The cookie skillet dessert was recommended and absolutely delicious.
