Updated Review: The food at Sabroso is good, but I have to agree with others that it’s overpriced. I spent $16 including tip for a RC and three tacos, which is steep compared to local grocery stores offering equal or better quality tacos and burritos with specials. Sabroso doesn’t have lunch specials or combos, which would help justify the price. While the food is decent, places like Rosie’s or Los Laureles offer better value for money. I’m not sure how Sabroso will stay open with these prices.
Update: The owner hasn't responded to reviews criticizing the expensive menu and only replies to 5-star reviews. Adding some lunch specials would be a good step.

We had lunch there today and it was fabulous their Guacamole is superb the best I?ve had in ages!!! I got the carne asada quesadillas, yummy ???? The food is delicious their chips are fresh and I mean fresh their salsa is delicious not toospicy.. And the flan, oh my it is to die for.. my friend had a different dessert, it was ice cream inside of a deep fried shellthat looked like a lotus flower! Just amazing ???? Be sure to try this restaurant- soon!!!
We absolutely love Sabroso! The authentic Mexican dishes are fantastic, and the service is excellent. They offer plenty of great vegetarian choices. It’s also perfect for quick takeout. The spacious patio provides a comfortable, uncrowded outdoor dining experience—an ideal retreat from the busy downtown Arlington Heights.
Wonderful atmosphere and fantastic food, including great vegetarian options. The Soy Al Pastor is outstanding! For those upset about a 50-cent upcharge, maybe Taco Bell is more your style. Many don’t realize that dining out is about the entire experience, not just the food and drinks. I will definitely be returning!
