Saint James Gate - Réservation de table

Went here for a business meal. The place is beautiful, rustic, and has high ceilings, lovely furniture and several different rooms for private dining or big screen party. A vast array of wines, mixed drinks, and beers from around the world and local micro breweries. Because this was a private room booking, we had a choice of several meals, not general menu, all of which were awesome, according to everyone who ordered them. The Canadian gourmet burger I ordered was superb. Hot, juicey, tasty and big. The fries that went with it were, unfortunately, almost cold, as were all the other fries. A very upscale restaurant located within the Fox Creek Golf Club. If only we had time for a game. Nonetheless, our dinner at Saint James Gate with friends from Shediac was an acceptable substitute. They offer a good variety of choices on the menu, a fine selection of draft beer and wine, and a great pub-like atmosphere. Though a little bit off the beaten path (from the Transcan highway), a great place to stop.

Visited this location recently with good overall comments from the whole group. Great setting, nice pub and great sunset views. Service was good. The server knew his menu and bar list well - superb. Many beers on tap and more in bottle. Nice selection of local beers, including their own draught. Food was fair all round. We were there on a weekday evening and it was busy. Loads of parking. Will visit again.

We decided to go as a group the other day. We had the spinach and artichoke dip to start. I ordered the Canadian Gate Burger and my wife ordered the California Club. Everything was delicious and we had a great time. We will be back. Réservez une table maintenant

The food is quite bland and certainly overpriced. The staff is not very friendly. They do offer gluten free options, which is good. I might come again, but just for the scenery.

Have been there several times now - have never been let down. From the apps to the main courses to the desserts. Always something good to enjoy. Nice atmosphere as well.
