My family and I have been coming to Sala since it first opened 20 years ago. It recently celebrated its 20-year anniversary, which is a huge milestone for any restaurant! Despite the challenges faced over the years, including the recent pandemic, Sala has proven to be a resilient and heroic establishment. Last Saturday, 4/30/22, we visited Sala with a group of family and friends and the restaurant was packed with love and energy. Our server, Wilber, was fantastic and provided excellent service. I love this Italian gem in Milwaukee !!!Teresa is the host with the most!! Her staff is incredibly knowledgeable attentive!!The food is authentic Italian love love love the Ossobuco!!! The decor ambiance is relaxing cheerful at the same time.I had to host a special event for the SANNIO’s Consortium and Teresa worked with me on perfectly matching the selected wines with the appetizer entree. What a fun evening! I came with three of my friends and we had a wonderful experience. The food was excellent as was the service. We were brought fresh bread with olive oil to start us off. We also ordered the eggplant appetizer, which was delicious. I had the Linguini De Mare and soup of the day, which was butternut squash. Both were fantastic. Our server was excellent. The place was VERY busy and he was attentive and prompt. I definitely recommend Sala and will be going back soon.
We ate there last night for our first time and loved it! We ordered two apps (goat cheese in a tomato basil sauce and Bruschetta) and four dinners (margarita pizza, daily special seared trout with lemon risato and Bolognese and chicken alfredo) also REALLY enjoyed the Caesar salad and minestrone soup EVERYTHING was delicious! Our server was Abbey and she was truly a great server! If you haven't been there, you HAVE to try it We will def be back!! Réservez une table maintenant
