Salsas Fresh Mex Grill

This restaurant is located in the new food court in Collins Square. Quite enjoyed the Burritos which Ive purchased on several occasions. I did ask for them to be extra spicy but they are disappointingly rather mild. I love mexican food with a bit of a kick to it. If the managers read this make sure when a client asks for it to be hot make it HOT!Make sure you enrol for their rewards card which is available online. For every $15 that you spend you will1 point, which equates to $1.You also receive special members only offers via email. You also receive a free Burrito on your birthday.I find if you get there before 12 noon there isnt a queue. Leave it much later and it can get quite busy.

I looked around for a decent food and refuse to eat fast food then I came to Salsa. I was not expecting much after all, this is food court. I ordered Baja Steak and it came with lots of vegetable, yellow rice, guacamole, tortilla chips and meat. Since my expectation is low, it was indeed a nice surprise as I finished the whole plate. Don't expect much on presentation though, it is still food court meal.

As a member I received an email offer where for $5 I could try their new Steak and Chips Burritto.I wanted the Burritto spicey so they added Habanero Sauce for an extra 50 cents.Taste was different as expected but I did enjoy it. Worth a try but may not be for everyone.

Worse Taste, the combination was not right. I am not going to try that ever again.I had few rice at the bottom with black beans, lots of zucchiini, few broccoli, hot chilli sauce, avacado (just by look- no taste). Don't waste your money on this.

i had the veggie burrito and there was no evidence of chipotle or any other mexican flavouring. visit trippy tacos in gertrude street and see how to make a veggie burrito full of flavour and goodness
