I visited Saltaire during restaurant week and wanted to try a seafood restaurant. When I saw the selections on the restaurant week dinner menu I was very disappointed. I wish I knew ahead of time before making reservation, I would have by passed this place For appetizers, there weren’t too many appealing choices so I chose the New England clam chowder. My husband chose the mussels fra diavalo. He enjoyed them. For dinner, only 1 seafood selection which was salmon which I chose. My husband chose a “seafood “ bolonese sauce over macaroni. I went during restaurant week with a friend (a table for 2) . The food was excellent, the service was a bit slow. The table of two that sat next to us and arrived after us, ordered the same food but somehow were served before we were. There is not a huge wine by glass selection but we both very pleased with our choice . The interior of the restaurant is very nice, very clean and professionally run. We asked our server if the restaurant was extremely crowded due to restaurant week or if that was the norm for a Thursday night. She said she wasn't sure as she usual works at their other location.
