Unpolished and unwilling service. I met a group of friends for dinner but arrived a bit early and decided to have a drink at the bar. There were no open places available, so I ordered a drink and asked one of the staff if I could sit at one of the high peaks next to the bar. He said, okay, so I waited there. The hostess came with an acceptable look and informed me that I could not sit there because this table is for customers who order and drink food. Forgive me, but why do I assume I didn't order food? I went during restaurant week with a friend (a table for 2) . The food was excellent, the service was a bit slow. The table of two that sat next to us and arrived after us, ordered the same food but somehow were served before we were. There is not a huge wine by glass selection but we both very pleased with our choice . The interior of the restaurant is very nice, very clean and professionally run. Monday nights seem to be a slow time at this restaurant, as we didn't receive very attentive service. We ordered drinks but our server never came back to ask if we wanted anything else. If we had wanted to order a bottle of wine, it was never brought up. This was a special birthday celebration for us, so we were disappointed with the lack of attention to detail.

Love this place! We go early before the hipsters. Happy hour has great options for food and I like their special vodka cocktail. Could make a meal of just happy hour. Gets louder than we like later but many others go there just for that.
I really enjoyed my time this evening at Saltaire with family. The seafood was fresh and tasty. The ambiance was lovely. The servers were knowledgeable and helpful. The parking was fully accessible. It was a wonderful time had by all!
We had dinner at Saltarie about 1.5 years ago--and found the meal was passable/good, but not memorable..recently went back 2 weeks ago on a whim and then again last week because the food and service is now absolutely outstanding!
Clam chowder was watery. Pasta was over cooked and had no seafood. Bread pudding was horrible it was a kind of flavorless cake. I won’t be back

The experience was excellent, although it was a bit noisy to have a conversation with the couple at the next table, we managed to communicate.
We have dined at this restaurant multiple times and have always enjoyed our meals.
