Travelling from Newtownards through Kircubbin towards Portaferry, you will pass Saltwater Brig. What a brilliant place to eat and enjoy the atmosphere. 6 of us ate here today including 2 young kids. The food was amazing. I would recommend the seafood combo. Such a big plate of food, good job too as my son pinched quite a bit of it! My wife had the sea bass and said it was lovely. I had a look outside and there is a large beer garden too. Carpark is across the road with lots of space, but take care crossing the road, especially with kids. Well worth calling in if you are out and about this summer.
Called on Wednesday of Easter week and enjoyed an excellent meal! Service was great and meals arrived in a timely fashion despite it being very busy. Food was delicious with very generous portions. Have eaten here a few times recently and every time had an excellent meal…thought it was time I left a review to recommend to others!
Food and service were first class.. Great pint of Guiness also..I got salt and chilli squid to start and a gluten free battered cod..staff were lovely. nicest meal out in a long time.

An excellent place to eat quality affordable food with exceptional service. Wherever I'm on the Ards Peninsula and need fed, I'm going here. Try it you won't be sorry!!!
