Salty Dog Ice Cream Shop

What a fun experience! The place has shops, a café, and an ice factory. We decided to visit because we had heard so many great things about it, and it did not disappoint. A helpful tip: the ice factory is located on the opposite side of the café, so it's best to park at the far end of the lot for a shorter walk to get there.

The ice was good, not great. Red velvet had mixed almost as much cake as it had ice cream. Beautiful outdoor seating area next to the Salty Dog Cafe and a few souvenir shops. There is a small playground for small, directly opposite the Ice Cream Factory.

My Husband and I enjoyed our lunch time here. We had a great server! Try their specials for a amazing price. The bar drinks are on the expensive end. I had a long island which cost me $12 and was a small size drink.

The best way to indicate that you've vacationed in Hilton Head is by picking up a few t-shirts from Salty Dog, and then treating yourself to some ice cream to celebrate your hard work. And you definitely should! Réservez une table maintenant

The ice cream is way better than the food! My wife and I got the cake batter ice cream. She got it with sprinkles and I got mine with hot fudge. Note: the cake batter already comes with sprinkles in it.

Great ice cream shop. We rode our bikes through sea pines and stopped here for a treat. A welcome stop on a beautiful bike ride.
