I heard big things about this place, so my expectations were pretty high. Happy to share that they not only fulfilled my expectations, but exceeded them. Booked too early and was still sitting immediately. Great table right against the window overlooking the low land and the water. We were immediately greeted by our waitress Beth. That's a nice restaurant. Well decorated. Very helpful and friendly staff. The food was okay. It was nothing I'd go back for. Everything was served Luke warm. A person in our party got the wrong food. When we told the waiter when he came to check on us, he offered to change it, but it was already 10 minutes since they delivered it so that he only kept what he had. My crab cakes hardly had crabs and I think they were the smallest crab cakes I ever had in a restaurant. They were also not very tasteful, at $22 for 2 sand dollar size crab cakes I don't think I would try them again. This place is wonderful! We had gone to the other Hilton Head location before and while we did love that one as well, this one will now become our favorite. It has a ton of outdoor seating (which is very important to me because I always have at least one dog with me), absolutely stunning views, and just a super cozy (but still ocean themed) ambience. Plus the food is wonderful. My party ordered the seafood boil pot, the chicken Alfredo, gumbo, clam strips, and buffalo dip and truly the only problem was a few of the mussels in our boil couldn't be opened no matter how hard we tried. But otherwise everything was wonderful!
