Sambuca - Réservation de table

Stopped for lunch one sunny Saturday mid cycle . Was able to lock our bikes to the railings outside which is also viable in the restaurant, plenty seat outside too. Food can’t go wrong £6 for 3 course, huge portions. I got seafood pasta which was the best I’ve had from a sambucas was packed with squid mussels and prawns, partners was also full of meat. Empty plates all round, finished off with a coffee when back on the bikes. Would have gave this place 5* but the coke was flat and tasted cheap. All the staff were lovely, place was full but had a relaxed atmosphere. Will be back again.

Had an enjoyable night with friends at Sambuca. I ate off the specials board having belly pork with black pudding in a peppercorn sauce followed by a chicken parmo. First time I’ve ever tried a parmo and to be honest I think I was digesting it for days! It’s quite a dish of breaded chicken covered in cheese. Food was enjoyable though. Not the place to go for a quiet night though. Restaurant is noisy but the waiters make your visit a whole dining experience an enjoyable night. A great venue for those with smaller children. A thoroughly enjoyable evening was had by all.

An unexpected treat of a Sunday lunch, I rang sambucas to book a table, the lady was pleasant, helpful and quick. Once I arrived the food was served fast, short waiting time. All health procedures are been followed to a high standard as well as the high quality of service and food. I would highly recommend!

Difficult time’s with this Covid 19 however you wouldn’t even know when dining here. Service was amazing and the food too. Atmosphere was happy and friendly, full credit to the staff for having a full grip of this Covid and managing to provide service and food safely and to such a high standard Réservez une table maintenant

This is a well known spot locally with great food, fast service and great prices. The servers are the just the best, they always welcome you like family. Cocktails are delicious and very well priced. Plenty of parking and a view of the river is the icing on the cake.

Great food this September evening. We both enjoyed chicken, mine with arrabiata sauce which was delicious. We had starters veg, salad and chunky chips. All really good. Quiet on this early Friday evening. The regular staff we had missed were there and were brilliant.

F.A.B. Lunch A morning walk around the fish Quay followed by lunch A fantastic fish dish of sea bass plus mussels and a garlic and white wine sauce A great glass of house white and very friendly staff What more could you ask for !?!

Restaurant great. Service second to none. Food fantastic. Great menu, plus lunch time set meals. We have been before and had lunch today and we will be back. Give it a try, you will love it. Réservez une table maintenant

Best pasta Arrabbiata I’ve ever had. It’s my favourite Italian sauce and I’ve had it in several different countries but none of it is as good as the one they serve here.
