As someone with experience in customer service, I believe delivering good service should be straightforward. Unfortunately, SAMURAI in Croton Hudson, NY seems to struggle with this. I occasionally stop by for lunch, and the young hostess at the entrance lacks basic social skills. She rarely greets guests with a friendly “Hi, how are you?” or a simple “Thank you for coming.” Instead, she appears more focused on her phone, seemingly oblivious to the world around her. From a customer service sector it comes as easy as 1.2, 3, but SAMURAI in CROTON HUDSON, NY does not understand that! Every time I come to lunch and the boys? Hostess? Who is sitting right at the door? not using the basic human abilities as to say? How are you, thank you for coming! All she does is staring at her phone as there is not life beyond her screen. When she lifts her face off the screen, she is either soft, rude and or gives RACIST Vibes as if she doesn't know how to deal with DIFFERENT CULTURES. At the end of the day, your chefs save your reputation with great food, because your service representatives are?t allow me to hand over 1 star for this facility!
My family visited the restaurant, and I was disappointed that I couldn't join them. I thought it would be a nice surprise to call in and offer to pay for their meal online. I'm really grateful that the staff was so accommodating and accepted the payment over the phone. I truly appreciate how they took care of everything just as I would have if I had been there. The food was delightful as well. Thank you so much! I can't wait to visit in person next time I'm in New York.

I had a wonderful evening! The filet mignon was some of the best I've ever had. We also loved the shrimp and scallops, which were exceptional. This was our first visit, but it certainly won't be our last!
This restaurant is truly a perfect 10/10! The food and service are exceptional. I'm actually writing this review while I'm still here because it's that incredible! I will definitely be returning!
Had a wonderful night. The Filet Mignon was something of the best I ever had. We also had shrimps and scollops that were excellent. It was our first time, but not our last!
