This was our favourite restaurant in surfers, the staff were extremely friendly and the Japanese decor was extremely quirky. I had a Japanese tap beer also which was extremely nice. We also ordered a bottle of saki which really made it authentic. The food was amazing, we even had there crocodile which was beautiful. We will definitely be back here for sure, highly recommend.
Very disappointed with being treated poorly from the beginning. When my order got mixed around on the table, I only asked if I got my order recorded right. The answer was "BBQ takes long you know?! It's not like fast food". When my order finally arrives, the rice is like porridge and the food is ordinary. Stay away from this place if you want a pleasant evening.
I've discover this little restaurant thank's to TripAdvisor and I must say I'm grateful for that. The place is little and unfortunately is hide and hard to find, but the food is tasty. I've tried miso soup, wakame noodles and some cold dishes. I loved the vegetables gyoza. There are also veggies sticks for vegeterians. Give it a try guys.
The beef skewer was dry and overcooked, reminiscent of jerky. The owner was unfriendly towards customers and there was no professional customer service provided by the staff or owner. If you are looking to simply fill your stomach with inexpensive food and do not mind the lack of hospitality, this place may be suitable for you. Réservez une table maintenant
Authentic Japanese food. Great customer service. Small, cosy restaurant. Do not be deceived by the appearance of the restaurant as the food is surprisingly good and better than the average surrounding Japanese restaurants. Good luck finding the place as it tucked within a run down shopping centre.
I felt like I was in Japan although I have never been. The owner (when not busy) Would play an instrument that was not a guitar and not quite a ukelele. It was nice atmosphere and the food was great!
I thought the food was very average. The pork belly dish was stodgy and fairly tasteless. The pork and heart yakitori sticks were over cooked in my opinion. We won't go back
Excellent boutique Japanese food. Friendly quick service just near the main drag of Surfers. Tasty and very good quality food. Their warm house Sake smooth and flavoursome. Réservez une table maintenant
We had the udon, pork skewers and spring rolls, all were really nice, service was good, nice little restaurant located in a small shopping centre. would defs come back
