San Christobal - Réserver une table

We had to wait very long before anyone would take our order. Once ordered we had to wait forever to get served... and we were way past the rush hour. The food was ok_—! have seen better but also worse— and then As we had...some food left we asked politely if we could take it away as doggy bag, as we had seen a couple at a table nearby do. There the owner? At least she looked like the owner. As she was counting the money in the till answered no way. She refused to give any explanation, and said the waiter had been wrong in packing the left overs of the couple before us. I fear the poor lad will not be working there tomorrow... All in all a pretty poor experience. If you have the choice, go to am Haffen at the other end of the bridge. Nice view, nice food’ and nice service. Run away from SAN Cristobal. I could not spot any Spanish speaking staff, let alone any Mexican accent. This German Mexican food. Bah let s not talk about this place anymore. Cheers and enjoy your stay in Cochem

This is pretty much just a tourist trap. Everything is really overpriced for the taste, very bland. Service was very slow even though there weren't many people when we went. Even non-alcoholic mocktails are super expensive (only less than the alcoholic drinks) neither...of which is worth the price. There are many other, better restaurants in the area for a better price. The only redeeming quality is the atmosphere.

So very lucky to get a table for as we had no reservation. Prices look high, but boy, the plates are loaded with really delicious food, whether you chose Mexican, burgers, or German style pork steaks. Very friendly staff and the restaurant was so...busy, but we felt as if we had our own personal waitress. Cocktails were delicious!! Will be going back in the spring but will make a reservation, just in case.

We had a very delicious meal. The steak and the gourmet burrito were divine. The portions are large, you will not go hungry here. Tasty apetisers (try the spicy dip, if you dare) and a nice selection of bears. Worth the visit!
