During a recent trip to visit a friend at UNC Pembroke, I decided to order from San Jose Mexican. The food was excellent, even though the wait time was a bit longer than I anticipated. Usually, a longer wait suggests the food is made fresh, and that proved true here. I would definitely eat here again if I'm nearby!
The portions at San Jose Mexican were noticeably small, and that wasn't the only concern. The prices were steep given the quantity and quality of the menu items we received. On a positive note, the service was attentive, and they quickly met our needs.
The food was excellent, and I've noticed a significant improvement in the menu selection since my last visit. As a returning customer, that was the first thing that caught my attention.

Restaurant really clean, service was great, but food was cold, and it really upset my stomach. Would not recommend eating at this restaurant.
San Jose Mexican boasts beautiful decor and a welcoming atmosphere. The food was outstanding, and the service was equally remarkable.
