Sandra's - Réserver une table

When I made the reservation, Sandra was so annoying and personal, I only knew I had to try this place. My neighbors, from Babcock Ranch, joined me and we went. The restaurant decor and atmosphere were phenomenal. There is a beer garden outside, but the weather was a bit too cool for us to enjoy it. We came about 45 minutes earlier than expected, but no problem, the hostess sat us and the fun just started. I had a liter of beer, my friends had a beer and an iced tea. The buzz in the room was upset and the laughter was so pleasant. We started with the Kraut Balls, a double order and loved them!!! My husband and I have been looking for authentic German cuisine since our trip to Germany/Austria last year. Unfortunately, we are in an area of the country that does not have much to offer. At our recent visit to Bradenton FL, I was looking for what was in the area. I saw the appetizers firecock. We had this at Heidelberg Castle, and I didn't see it on another German restaurant menu. I said we'll try it! I can say it was absolutely worth the 45 minutes drive!!!! We brought his parents and, of course, they also loved the food. I was initially skeptical until the first bite of a German restaurant in Punta Gorda. All we had was as if we were transported over seas. The European sampler met my European heritage on the spot with a perfectly cooked carving, bratwurst and a tasteful goulash. The service was somewhat slow in engagement, but understandable in these times. Beverages were on the spot and the cranberry bread pudding dessert finished the meal perfectly.

We absolutely loved Sandra's! We returned two days later and brought family with us! My boyfriend was born in Germany. The food was very similar to what his mom prepared! If you are new to German food, we suggest you try their sampler. Each night they feature a different specialty in addition to their full menu. They also offer a selection of German beer and wine. Next time we are in South Florida we will definitely be back!

Wow! The food here is incredible and super tasteful. And the service is notch! But I have to say I didn't expect the cocktails to be so delicious. Worth a visit for sure A hidden gem! The apple strudel is also the best in the city.
