Sanook Thai Cuisine

I've more recently been frequenting Haddonfield and also checking out their food scene which has really been quite good. Living close by in another competing food scene, I realized there are so many and just as good as CC Philly places right in my backyard. So today I went Thai and had lunch at Sanook. It was quite good and service was just fine (they were not busy at all . Since I wanted to relax I sat out on their very tranquil patio. I got the papaya salad which was great! Fresh, vibrant, crunchy, sweet/sour and spicy. Much better than Circles for sure. Crispy Calamari was good although not perfectly crisp however, they were tender to the chew which says a lot. I greeted today for a good sour Thai soup, so I decided to go to this restaurant as from his review. I didn't eat much, just a Tom Yum Shrimp soup and a pig larvae. So I can only make my assessment based on these two courts. The soup was incredibly sweet, Tom yum is an acidic and spicy soup. This one was just sweet and you couldn't taste anything else. Never had such a bad soup in a Thai restaurant. I recommend either reworking the recipe or removing it from the menu. The larvae was ok, there was a little lack of salt for my taste. But since the staff was super friendly and the entire appearance of the restaurant was nice, I still give 3 stars.

Great Thai restaurant. Food was delish. The location is great, away from the main road. A must go when you're in the area. Customer service was good, but there were too many people who only order one server. Please be patient. Deep fried red snapper and chicken green curry. Very delicious. Wanted dessert, but was too full....definitive next time. Kudos to the cook!

Thank you Thai restaurants in several states? The first time here? would it be characterized as ?ordinary?. Salmon with garlic sauce vegetables was wanted on veggies short. Shrimp Pad thai was seasoned noodles and shrimps. Would recommend looking for other places for Thai food

Fried rice and fish cake are top notch. The restaurant is spacious and well furnished. They are always busy because it is near the famous shopping street of Haddonfield.
