Food is always great here but service leaves a lot to be desired. Guy manning the counter was really gruff. After ordering, you are given a number for them to call you up when your order is ready. There was a mixup and we were given the wrong number. People that ordered after us kept getting called, so we went up to the counter to double check as there was a bag that looked like ours. The number didn 't match so he said our order wasn 't ready. Each time we went up to check he would see us and respond, not yet in a rather short and gruff matter. I went in to order food and I?ll admit it was busy there was only 1 cashier all the phones were ringing and tablets were going off for what I can believe are online orders mind you the line is out the door, one other employee decides to help the cashierand the manager comes in and yells at both of them telling them to ?fucking stay at there own stations? and to ?only help oneanother when the line is out in the street? I can feel the boy (Cashier) was upset with the manager for yelling at his friendand himself I front of everybody for helping. If this is the management here then I don?t know what goes on behind doors. Iwould eat here for the food but I despise there way of conduct.
Normally, I wouldn't go out of my way to come to this place. But my friend likes this place, so I come. Food's actually not bad. Nothing special, but still ok, and for the area it's really cheap.Parking: It says it's paid, and you gotta' grab a ticket. I'm assuming each business has to validate it to be free. But my friend keeps saying people just no one cares and just ignores the signs. That sounds dangerous though, and I don't wanna' risk it. Street parking is 2hrs free at least, but if anything happens on the street, there's no one to be liable if something happens, and you can't see what happened being far away, and vision being blocked by a wall.
I worked here 12 years ago, and after leaving, I still come back regularly. The food quality is consistent. I love all the salad, they never disappoint. I love their noodle dishes, whether it's a stir-fried noodle combo or udon in the soup, they aretasty and satisfying. Among all the sushi options, my favorites are hand roll and calamari bombs. Their sashimi quality is justok, after all, they are not an upscale sushi restaurant, but nothing on their menu that is bad, even all the sides, appetizersare delicious. Overall, this is an amazing restaurant. They've been here for 20 years, and they are still going strong, thatalone already explained a lot.

So glad I found a Pasadena location. For years I went to the one in Brentwood and Westwood. Theirs is a less refined more quick dining experience and exactly what my kids love and I can enjoy. Their food is always fresh, reasonable prices and quick service. Staff is super friendly gives recommendations and just nice every time I have visited. The restaurant is a little hidden but once you find it you will keep coming back! Outdoor patio available.
The salad that comes along with the chicken plates is soggy. The cashier serves the salad and handles the cash at the register without washing his handsThe soda fountain is dirty and sticky every Thursday and Saturday I go thereI stopped coming here once chick fil A opened up. This place needs to step up its cleanliness and customer service
I've been coming to this restaurant for 20 years, and it truly is the best place for chicken bowls. The staff are incredibly friendly and dedicated. Thank you for your hard work and for making the food so delicious. This restaurant really has a heart, so please keep up the great work. Thank you!
