It?s been maybe three years since I visited this restaurant. The food was still delicious. I love that they have an outdoor seating area with working fans for these hot summer days. We shared dishes off the brunch menu and the normal menu ofchilaquiles, huevos toluqueños, and the cochinita pibil. The dishes are big portion sized meant for sharing. I think the foodcould have fed five people easily. The huevos toluqueños made an impression on me because it has a little kick of spicinessthat I was not expecting. It was a good kind of kick. The staff is super friendly and accommodating.
I was torn between a 3 a 4 because the food has such large portions beautiful presentations, however, the flavor wasn't all there. The relleno was good but needed a slight kick of seasoning added. The guacamole was nothing special that I actually tookit home and modified it to perfection. The salsa was okay just a little watery but I did love their queso and chips. Service wasalso very great.
Best thing of the restaurant was the decorations outside. The soup portion was terrible and completely covered in oil as you can see from the picture. I also ordered fajitas which were served on a hot plate. The fajitas had a nice char on them butabsolutely no seasons. Probably had better Mexican food at my 7th grade cafeteria. Scenery 10/10, Food -2/10.
