I want to express my gratitude to Santeria for offering the best Latin food in the Castro! I often stop by for their new Ensenada Fresca, and I love to pair it with their delicious Mexican wings. I shred the chicken and add it to my salad, then top it off with some peppers and ranch dressing. It has become my new addiction this year, and it fits perfectly into my diet, making me feel fabulous and transformed — it truly works its magic! Santeria opened up a few years ago, and my family and I were overjoyed that a nice, sit-down Mexican restaurant was opening near us. The food never disappoints, and even with a menu that changes every-so-often weve never been disappointed. The cocktails are out-of-this-world but my favorite has always been a prikly pear margarita (with tajin!! . I've maybe ordered their flautas 50 times since they've opened, it's the best thing on their big Happy Hour list!While the service can be hit-or-miss, we used to always like having Sandra as our server and now that she's gone we always are hoping for Wyatt to serve us. I went here to meet a friend for dinner after doing a Barry’s workout and it was a nice and quick experience!Good: Fast service! Food came out in like 10 minutes? My partner and I have set a goal to dine here every time we visit the Bay. The atmosphere is warm, cozy, and welcoming. Each dish offers its own unique flavor, and the portion sizes are generous. We adore the brunch, the drinks, and the staff. The owner is also a true pleasure to interact with.

Went by tonight, after a hair salon appt. They are still putting out delicious carnitas tacos margaritas. I had the Happy Hour carnitas tacos (2), a cucumber basil margarita. Perfect quick early dinner cocktail. We also have had the chicken quesadilla which was tasty. Another 5 trip!
Went for happy hour. Nice selection of items on the happy hour menu including the traditional margarita x2 pitchers. 4 of us made a meal out of it. Thomas was very friendly and attentive even after he got a table of 10.
Very good food, everything we ordered was excellent and the margaritas were devine. I highly recommend this place. We were seated outside so perhaps inside would get better attention.
