Service took a really long time, waters took 20 minutes to come around. Waited another 25 maybe for food. But once our first dish came out, the rest came in good time. The food was excellent, definitely coming back. Nice to sit outside on the patio.Wish there were more Georgian wine options in the lower price range if it is possible. Would love to try some, but they were all only sold by the bottle and I believe $50-70 range. Some other imported wines were in the $30-$40 which would be more attractive. If there is possibility for cheaper Georgian imports I would love to try them, or offer by the glass! :
While looking for a place to eat on Saturday night, Saperavi was recommended to me by a close Friend. Although I was skeptical after not eating Georgian food before, I was very impressed by the meal. The cheese bread with hot sauce was recommended to us. It was an excellent appetizer. <br/ <br/ The salmon and chicken shashlik arrived shortly after and were delicious as well. As a bonus, they are also the only place I know of in town that had both Erdinger and Delirium on tap. <br/ <br/ Overall it was an amazing experience and I will certainly be back.
Cannot say enough about Saperavi. True comfort food bursting with flavour. Can’t go wrong with anything on the menu but the Georgian style dumplings and any of the breads are a definite cant miss! Staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable always offering to help with food selections. Recommend bringing a group along as it is larger tapas style and the more friends you bring, the more dishes you can try! Will definitely be back and will be recommending it to friends!
I’ve been thinking about going to Saperavi for a year and finally tried it.They have all the most popular and authentic dishes, rich in flavor and Georgian spices.Amazing romantic atmosphere and fast service.Absolutely my favorite is Khachapuri Adjaruli , I would definitely recommend it if you love cheese.

I appreciate the time that I've spent there. Delicious food, friendly staff and a good atmosphere. After that experience I would like to visit Georgia, but now I found a good cultural piece of this country in Winnipeg. Next time I'm going to grab my friends and family and might be my colleagues too!
This must be the best Georgian view outside of Georgia itself! The Khinkali (stuffed dumpling) has the right amount of spice ,and we love the chicken dish and cheese and egg bread the latter is must try for those new to Georgian cuisine, The staff are friendly and helpful, and the wine was great!!!
Wow, was looking to try a new restaurant tonight for date night and neither of us had ever had Georgian food before. This restaurant is amazing! The food is phenomenal, some of the best we've had, the service is friendly and prompt.. just all in all a 6/5 star evening. A must try!
The food was so good, and it just kept coming! Arrive hungry and be prepared to share the portions are large and there will be leftovers. There was some confusion in sorting the bill, but it all worked out in the end.

I have tried quite a few things on the menu and have never been disappointed. Food is amazing, staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is very inviting. It's on my list of favourite restaurants.
