Sapienza consistently delivers outstanding service. I've relied on them for years for our family celebrations, and they've never let me down when it comes to decorative and custom cakes. Not only do they look incredible, but they are also delicious. The staff is always friendly and accommodating, ready to answer any questions and assist in bringing your vision to life. Andrew, in particular, has excellent communication skills; he responds quickly and is incredibly helpful. Their cakes are always the highlight of every party. They truly are the best in the business!
This will always be my way to bakery. A little more than 10 years ago, when my sister got married, we got a nice tie beach tea for her bridal shower from here. Then a few weeks later, my sisters original bakers (not connected to Sapienza) FORGOT to bake their wedding cakes. Not only Sapienza came through last minute, the cake was absolutely delicious and my sister even got a leaf cake to serve the guests. No other bakery comes close to this kind of kindness, which is why they will always be our way to bakery. That and the Cannolis are addicted! Lol
this is Elmont bakery.. this will forever be a treasure of Elmont. i go here for mostly all my cakes. i got 3 cakes that specifically day. : love em. oh those croissant looking things on the back shelves are amazing! they have bakers cheese in them not sure what they are called. but they look like crunchy croissants! UPDATE AFTER THEY REPLIED: ahhhhhhhh okay!! they are delicious! it was first time i tired in yearssss and i will def come back for it!! <3 thank you again!
This restaurant has been excelling for quite some time. The owner takes great pride in the quality of his offerings, and after talking with him, I was truly impressed. The staff? Five stars all the way. Looking ahead, this place skillfully blends traditional approaches with contemporary needs. Each visit is always a fantastic experience. They're a valuable member of the community!

A clear favorite in the neighborhood! I’ve never heard anything negative about this place. It's the only bakery on Mecham Ave and Hempstead Turnpike that has been around for 50 years. If I remember correctly, they originally had a bakery in Brooklyn before moving to Elmont. Definitely worth a visit!
My son thoroughly enjoyed his birthday cake, which was just the right size for all our guests. I’m grateful to the baker for including the "Happy Birthday" message I requested. The cake was beautifully packaged and tasted fantastic!
Fantastic bakery! They offer only amazing cakes, cookies, and pastries at great prices. The staff is friendly, too. I drive 8 miles to get to this bakery, even with many other options along the way. Highly recommended!
The cake I received looked nothing like the picture. If I had known this was how it would turn out, I would have never ordered from them. It seems you have to visit in person, or they just send whatever they want.

Tried this place and loved it. Beautiful tasting cakes and pastries of every kind...not to mention the cookies etc. Always fresh made.
Everyone at my job loved the cookies....they were so fresh, they just melt in your mouth!
