Inside, navigation is nearly impossible due to the layout, and the noise level is so high that it is painful for the ears, particularly for those with hearing loss. This establishment does not meet ADA standards, and I will be reporting them.
Regarding the service, we waited 20 minutes for watered-down drinks and an hour for poorly prepared food. My burger had a sticker stuck to the tomato, and the lettuce was not washed. I ended up with mild food poisoning, while my husband ordered sushi from the so-called sushi bar, which tasted like something you'd find at a grocery store.

I dont like to leave bad reviews, but service expectations weren't met. We arrived no one in the upstairs dining room. Told the server we are starving she said she got us. We placed appetizer and main entree at same time. Dining room was starting to fill up, but we ordered so didn't think anything of it. All 3 tables sat AFTER us got their food. We had to find our server and ask ETA. Manager came to check on our table and we told her. She said it was servers second day and basically took no accountability for our food coming out 30-40 minutes after appetizers were finished. We returned to Sarah Street Grill 11 years after our first visit, enjoying another lunch on their upper deck. Our server, Alexis O, was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The food was fantastic. We started with the hummus of the day served with tricolor chips as an appetizer, then shared a fresh and delicious fruit and nut salad. We also tried the mushroom and onion burger, and while they claim to have the best burgers in town, I wouldn't disagree—they really set a high standard. The portions are quite generous. We were passing through town and found this place on Google. The food was very good, with a voluminous menu of options, including an individual menu for sushi and cocktails. We were seated upstairs where it was uncomfortably warm, but we appreciated all the pop artwork. I'm not sure if something was wrong with the HVAC system. But I enjoyed the local beer. The chicken cheesesteak was on one of the freshest rolls I've had in recent memory with Italian seasoning on it. Wings were stupendous and flavorful. And I loved the onion soup. It's definitely worth a stop while in Stroudsburg.

The food was horrible. My wife had the penne a la vodka. The pasta was mush (over cooked) and the sauce wasnt vodka sauce. I did wonder why she ordered penne a la vodka from here. You could tell by when you walked in they werent gonna make it good and had no business having it on their menu. They said it was kid friendly but honeslty it isnt. If it wasnt for the fact that everything around here closes and 8pm except this place and it was after 8pm i would have walked out. Never, ever, ever going back. ???????
We loved our first visit! The pickles to open, the beer selection, the vegan options, the sushi options, the responsive kitchen and staff. Rachel was a great server. And happy birthday tomorrow to Christy and hope she enjoys her river adventure!
Fantastic sushi and delicious desserts, accompanied by good music and friendly service. Definitely a must-visit when you're in the area!
Delightful find while we were on vacation. The restaurant has a great vibe and lots of good food choices.
