Staying here for one night for unfortunately attending a funeral. Initially dissapointed as it was Vegan and had no alcoholic licenense. The service was second to none, he allowed us to drink our own drink, which we appreciated and gave service charge even though he never asked for it. The pizzas we had were absolutely delicious (again considering we are non vegans), we were looked after impeccably and would recommend this for a good value budget stopover. Can't fault it for the price and service. We absolutely loved Savage Slice when it was based in Renfrew, so we were so glad to see it open again! We had the spicy chicken and chicken tikka pizzas along with some peri peri fries happy to say the food hasn’t changed and still as delicious as before as a veggie meat eater couple we both love it! Staff are super friendly and the new place is great with the option for a game of pool or darts after dinner. Definitely worth the 20 min drive! Great place, great food, very friendly staff! Lots of vegan options. Large former pub below a hotel, it’s very relaxed and comfortable and has a free play pool table(! and darts as well.
