We were excited to see that Morton Grove planned to expand and add more dining space. However, when we stopped by recently, we noticed that not only were the few tables missing (and they have been for some time), but there were signs indicating we couldn't use the dining counter. We were also told we couldn't access the freezer for frozen empanadas to take home. The place was cluttered with supplies, and there were numerous signs saying, "Do Not Touch" and "Employees Only."
Overall, we didn't feel welcome at all, even though we were there to spend our money. We likely would have purchased more, but the unwelcoming atmosphere really put us off. It's disappointing to see such a stark contras...
The place is small and it's basically more of a take out only due to space! As for food, my partner and I ordered the empanadas. We got the Mac n cheese, philly cheese steak, jambalaya (limited time only) and the spinach and feta. Out of the four, we topped philly cheese steak and jambalaya as our highest rating! It definitely was filling! The Mac and spinach/feta was alright, nothing spectacular. Each empanada is prolly $5 ea. You can honestly get full with 1-2. Lastly, we had the ube horchata. It was ok. Nothing great or bad about it. It had the purple color, but the taste was more horchata than ube! If you want something quick and filling, def get an empanada or two. Don't skip on the Phi...
I have ordered from this location many times and it has been great every time! I’m not super adventurous but I’ve ordered the cheese empanada many times and it’s been great. I’ve also ordered the Mac and cheese empanada which has also been great. This time I ordered a coconut chicken curry bowl which was really good! It even had real coconut in it! I got a brown sugar horchata boba this time also which was quite interesting but good! The service has been wonderful and I would highly recommend this place!
Yum yum yum!! First time trying savory crust, and I'll be back! They have delicious and sweet empanadas and a few rotating options throughout the week! I got the Mac and cheese and plain cheese empanadas, which were delicious! Each empanada has a choice of sauce, and I got Sriracha aioli and plain marinara; both were good! They usually run out of the popular flavors (spinach and feta) in the morning, so I recommend going earlier on in the day! I can't wait to be back and try more flavors!

Every time my husband and I ordered food from here, it's been great. Staff is friendly and everything's freshly made. The last time I visited however, it was a bit disappointing. A few of the empanadas were a tad burned on the bottom and the ube horchata was too watery and didn't taste like Ube. I've had it before and it was amazing so it must've been an off day. I still recommend checking this place out. The empanadas are delicious. Both sweet and savory.
This was my first visit to this restaurant, and it certainly lived up to my expectations. I can’t resist ordering salmon when it’s on the menu, and the salmon teriyaki bowl here was fantastic—so moist and flavorful, unlike some other places I've tried. We also had the ube horchata and lychee agua fresca; the lychee drink is a definite must for the warm days ahead! The staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was clean and beautifully designed.
Long and overdue review it was Super Bowl Sunday and we catered from hereExperience was definitely a 5/5 The communication was phenomenal! The presentation was very cool everything tasted amazing!!!!!I highly recommend catering from here! The rice, chicken wings, and empanadas were so so so delicious!
I absolutely love the Mac n' Cheese and Chicken Pot Pie—they're my favorites! You can't miss the Hot Cheetos Elotes either; they're a must-try! The savory crust on each empanada is delightful as well. To top it all off, the dessert empanadas make for a perfect ending to the meal. Food Rating: 5/5.

We have been here many times and love the food every time. Never disappoints. Their wings are even phenomenal. The Chicken Pot pie, spinach feta, Argentina empanadas are all delicious. My picky 3 year old is also a fan, he’s a tough one to please in the food department
Ordered 20 of all different kinds both savory and sweet. Got a few sides again savory and sweet on Pi day (3/14). Everyone at my workplace LOVED them! Everything was AWESOME!!! I highly recommend!!! ??
