Ordered wine and cheese fondue. Fondue was among the better tasting fondues I have had in Switzerland. The reason for 3 stars is the prices of drinks, particularly water, are inflated even for Zermatt. 10 CHF per liter for tap water is simply astonishing and the server seemed annoyed that I questioned it. I consider myself to be well-traveled, and I have never seen such a high charge for tap water in Switzerland or anywhere else.
Service was nice they even gave us a little surprise appetizer. The atmosphere was pretty hard to get over though. It was way too warm in the restaurant, a bit too dark as well, and the other folks in the restaurant at the time weren't exactly my cup of tea. As far as the food goes, I think we just don't particularly enjoy fondue, so that that with a grain of salt.
The cheese fondue service was very good, superior quality service, delicious food and good wines... The chef served it by scraping the remaining cheese, especially the bottom, and the liqueurs they gave as a gift when leaving the restaurant... It is definitely a restaurant that cares about its guests and offers the perfect service.
