Saychol is one of the best things to happen in tha past few years in Melbourne’s inner east dining. Great Thai food carefully and consistently prepared by John and his team. Salads are particularly good and crisp. Curries are flavoursome and they serve an excellent...pad thai noodle dish. You can take your own alcohol to Saychol, which also saves you money if you’re so inclined. Being about 9 km out of the CBD and not in any of the city’s restaurant strips or Mecca’s, it’s a restaurant most frequented by locals in the know. Saychol is not a large restaurant, so my first recommendation is to book if you plan to go. It will be worth your while.
First time visit and we really enjoyed the meal, deciding it is definitely the best Thai in the area. Fresh and clean tasting food, nicely presented too. We loved the pad Thai with prawns and the crispy barramundi with apple and mango slaw’. We had...the sticky rice and fresh mango to go and it was yummy. Service efficient despite the fact the Restuarant was full. Definitely glad we booked and we will be back.
Lovely little place near home first time and the food was terrific my kari puffs were excellent and my main of the lamb curry certainly woke my taste buds my wife had the best looking barramundi it was cooked to perfection This restaurant caters for...gluten free and recommend you book it only sits 20 and is popular
This was our third visit and on each occasion the food has been outstanding and the equal of another of our favourites Inthanon in Northcote. Great staff, service and host. Good wine list and the opportunity to byo. Menu has plenty of seafood options...and the BBQ Calamari is to die for. Absolute Boroondara gem. .

This is definitely one of our favorite local restaurants . We have had dinner here a number of times and never been disappointed. A small space making it feel special. Great Thai food, amazing flavours and a great chef. Must try the fried baramandi with...fresh apple! So good!
Great Thai food located in The Graves. This restaurant is very small, so make sure to make a reservation. The chicken dish I had tasted fishy, indicating that there may be some undisclosed ingredients in the sauce. Be sure to inquire about any allergens before ordering.
I absolutely adore this restaurant. Their cattle massaman curry is the best I've ever had. I also can't get enough of their curry puffs and spring rolls. This is definitely the top spot in Kew for a delicious Thai dinner.
Saychol is the top Thai restaurant in town. The home delivery service is amazing and the food is always delicious. I have never been disappointed.

Recently went to the Seppelts wine night at SaycholHave to say I was a bit sceptical beforehand but the wine and food matching was fantastic.
