The service is highly attentive, and the waitresses are happy to explain the menu featuring plenty of local specialties, and even offer suggestions for the undecided.The food was delicious. We were staying in a gîte in the area and figured this looked like an 'authentic' enough restaurant to try, confirmed by all the rave reviews we'd seen.The house is charming, the deco truly unique, the welcome unbelievably warm (what a change from the Paris region!), the service attentive, and the menu with plenty of options. The plat du jour was a tarte flambée for entrée, potatoes and boudin for the plat (with salad), and a buche de noël for dessert. All that for less than 9 euros!!! Nous avons été conduits au restaurant par un centre local de récupération de véhicules (ne demandez pas, c'est une longue histoire). Le restaurant sert une cuisine locale typique alsacienne qui était extrêmement savoureuse et d'un excellent rapport qualité-prix. J'ai choisi le plat du jour qui était une entrée de salade typique suivie d'un délicieux osso bucco. Mon partenaire a choisi la combinaison de camembert et Munster frits dans le menu principal. Nous étions là pour le déjeuner dimanche. Nous n'avons pas pris le menu complet et n'avons mangé que des jarrets d'agneau sans entrées ni dessert. Nous étions complètement satisfaits et ne pouvions plus rien manger pour le dîner. Le vin et la bière étaient également délicieux.

Je me suis arrêté plusieurs fois en Alsace en descendant du Royaume-Uni vers l'Italie. Voici la meilleure nourriture que j'ai mangée en France et le restaurant est si charmant qu'on se sent comme un local, chez soi. Top food, le veau Cordon Bleu est fortement recommandé.

Nourriture typique. prix raisonnable. ambiance merveilleuse toute basée sur les sorcières (sorcieres) : peintures, pochoirs et poupées. Nous avons pris les Plaisirs d'Alsace (presskopf maison, jarret de porc et tarte maison). Bon choix. Je le recommande.

Un endroit à voir et à apprécier la cuisine alsacienne originale. Le personnel est très agréable. Les plats sont excellents. Mais, vous devez réserver.
