Scaramouche Artisan Glacier

J'ai récemment lu "Picnic in Provence : A Memoir with Recipes" et j'ai découvert Scaramouche grâce à l'auteur. La semaine dernière, j'ai eu l'occasion de passer par hasard à Cereste et j'ai insisté pour que ma famille s'arrête afin que nous puissions goûter la glace. Le propriétaire a été extrêmement gentil et généreux, offrant des échantillons et des explications sur les saveurs malgré le fait que la boutique était bondée un après-midi d'été chaud. La profondeur et la subtilité des saveurs de tout ce que nous avons essayé ont été un pur délice. Le voyage jusqu'à Scaramouche en vaut vraiment la peine ! J'ai également appris que la livraison personnalisée est maintenant disponible en France.

I recently read "Picnic in Provence: A Memoir with Recipes" and learned about Scaramouche from the author. Last week, I was unexpectedly driving through Cereste and insisted that my family stop so that we could taste the ice cream. The proprietor was extremely kind and generous, offering samples and explanations of the flavors despite the fact that the shop was busy on a hot summer afternoon. The depth and nuance of the flavor of everything we tried was an absolute delight. Traveling to Scaramouche is well-worth the effort! I also learned that custom delivery is now available in France.

We stayed in Cereste recently and tasted ice cream or sorbet each night of our visit. The freshest of ingredients are used and interesting, creative flavors of frozen treats are offered seasonly. The true flavor of the ingredients stand out; the mint chocolate ice cream is the most mint flavored I have ever tasted in any country and the raspberry sorbet is refreshing and tastes like raspberries just picked in the Provence sunshine. Highly recommend a trip to this location or the one in Paris! The waitstaff were also efficient and eager to assist me with my limited French.

Between us (I didn't order 5 just for me), we sampled the Vanilla, Coffee, Caramel, White Chocolate and a Sorbet. All had amazing strong flavours - the coffee in particular. You could taste the cream and it's obvious they've used quality ingredients. The ice cream is served in simple glass dishes with a biscuit on top. Scaramouche is clearly just about quality ice cream, you might have to look elsewhere if you're after a knickerbockerglory. Service was good, plenty of seating outside and they offered takeaway. Scaramouche est de loin la meilleure glace et sorbet que j'ai essayée... et j'en ai essayé quelques-unes! Leurs saveurs sont ingénieuses et délicieusement superbes, utilisant uniquement des produits locaux et de saison. Avec une température de 34 degrés, c'est vraiment parfait! Le personnel est également agréable et sympathique. Je ne peux pas recommander assez cet endroit. Si vous êtes dans cette belle région de France, Scaramouche vaut vraiment le détour.

J'avais lu des articles sur cet endroit, donc je voulais vraiment le visiter. Nous avons pris un repas dans un restaurant local et avons traversé la route pour manger une glace. Sélection incroyable et si difficile à choisir. Excellentes saveurs. Nous reviendrons régulièrement pendant nos vacances. Peut aussi s'asseoir dehors et prendre un café. Génial qu'il soit également ouvert jusqu'à 23 heures.

Scaramouche is by far the best ice cream and sorbet I have tried... and I've tried a few! Their flavours are ingenious and deliciously superb, only using local, in-season products. In 34c degree heat it really hits the spot! The staff are also nice and friendly. Can't recommend this place enough. If you're in this beautiful part of France, Scaramouche is definitely worth a visit.

Nous sommes allés le vendredi 31 mars. J'ai goûté la glace à la lavande et au fenouil et c'était juste délicieux. Mon mari a pris la saveur fraise et c'était vraiment délicieux. L'ambiance était très agréable et conviviale. Nous y retournerons certainement en été. Réservez une table maintenant

We went on Friday March 31. I tried lavender and fennel ice cream and it was just delicious. My husband tried the strawberry flavour and it was really tasty. The atmosphere was very pleasant and friendly. Will definitely go back in the summer.

Vous devez passer par cet endroit si vous êtes en ville. Vaste choix de saveurs avec des saveurs inhabituelles ainsi que des classiques classiques. J'avais de la vanille infusée à la lavande, ce qui était incroyable !
