This is a cheery and very noisy Italian restaurant on St Jean near the TC.We had great service and all but me enjoyed their dishes. I ordered the Seafood Salad. What was served was a bunch of greens , a slice of lox and several fried , cold and chewy calamari. Certainly not worth $19.I ate a third of the plate and left the rest. My server Never questioned the fact that most of it was left untouched which , to me , means poor training. So I called her over and told her. She looked shocked and offered me a free dish but I quietly declined , paid in full and left. I did order coffee but it was really watery and not drinkable.Restaurants should properly train their staff to question the quality...
August 16, 2017. My Spouse and I had the Lunch-Time Menu today. The menus are always excellent value, and gigantic portions. He had the Cacciatore from the Light Menu and I had the Hamburger from the Light Menu. The roast potatoes were fantastic. The Minestrone soup was delicious. We were served by KIMBERLY. She gave us excellent service, always going the "extra mile". This restaurant was very busy, but we were lucky to get a booth, and we were served very quickly. The staff are very friendly, the restaurant is very pretty. It is near Fairview Mall. Both these meals came to $22.60 plus taxes and tip. We both took home "doggie bags".
Great food and reasonably priced. We went there for my cousins birthday so there was 15 of us. Everybody enjoyed their food. They start by bringing out warm loaves of freshly baked baguettes.I ordered a pasta dish with jumbo prawns, it was a huge portion of pasta that I couldn't even finish.The service wasn't great, but they should have had 2 waiters for such a large crowd, but I was told that was the first time the service wasn't good, being that this was my first time.I would definitely go back though and highly recommend it!
Always have great food and service. It was not always like this when the restaurant opened they were hitting many bumps but now they have been all ironed out by management. The ambiance is dynamic which can been felt by some as being very noisy. I have to say my husband and I have tried many different dishes and all were good. I must point out that the price point is a little on the higher side. The portions are very generous and desserts are very good. Enjoy!

This is a place for people who like pasta....a lot of pasta a lot.Choice is overwhelming. Plates copious, enough to share.Drinks well done....One big issue....very, very loud.....you will have to scream to be heard on your own table.I am not sure this can be improved.Decent wine list.....full price range and regions/varietals for every pairing on their menu. Pastas can be over-cooked, you should specify how you like yours.
This was my first time having lunch at Scarolie's and it shall not be my last. The food was great with many table d'hote options. My aunt & I had the Pasta special that was recommended by our hospitable waiter Takis, who provided us with top notch service. The carrot cake dessert was delicious too! Highly recommend this restaurant and we shall be back :)
I absolutely love it here. I always get the same thing; Tortellini in a cream sauce with white wine and porcini mushrooms. It NEVER disappoints. The bread it always fresh and warm and the staff is always accommodating and friendly. The calamari is also delicious. Great for family dinners or a romantic dinner with your bf/gf.
As always the food is very good, but a couple of times I have gotten a waiter that is more concerned about serving the chief his diner or looking for the big time from a large group.Get to know a waiter and keep going back to him or her. (The women are usually more professional.That is the only reason for a 4 and not a 5.

Scarolie's is a busy restaurant ,a local favourite. Fine menu with nightly specials. Food is very dependable and service is attentive and pleasant. A large staff. Wish we had one in our home town in Ontario. Always come here when visiting the West Island.
My family ate here for my mom's birthday. The service and food was amazing! I am vegetarian and there were plenty of options for me, which I really appreciate!
