one one wonderful evening in september we had the pleasure to dine at the schifflände. location on the lake shore is great. food is nice in general. but there are two things to point out. parking policy is a no-go whatever the management mentiones. service is far from the level needed in such a restaurant. the first lady we met after arrival did not even look at us after we greeted her. she just walked off to the reservationsdesk and then asked the name in a very unwelcoming and unpleasant manner. luckily enough we had two young men who tried their best but they definitively never got any professional training for their job. at least they have been friendly. all in all there is no flair for...
We came for lunch to this wonderful restaurant directly at the lake of Hallwyl with outside and inside seating. All service personnel was very friendly and helpful. A large menu and a very large list of wines (over 400) including healthy vegan and vegetarian food. All drinks and food came quickly and everything tasted just great. Is this a helpful review? Essen war gut, Lage auch sehr gut. Wir mussten aber 6 CHF bezahlen für eine Stunde Parkgebühren !! Da es sonst dort keine Parkmöglichkeiten gibt, scheint es ein gutes Geschäftsmodell zu sein. Insgesamt ,denke ich sollte man an den Zürcher See fahren, dort isst man zum gleichen Preis sehr gut und zahlt auch weniger Parkgebühren noch dazu...
