After several friendly e-mails to the hotel operator and no answer for 4 weeks, I am writing my experiences with the hotel. we went to fourth together to wander into the Palatinate. At 11 a.m. we parked in the courtyard and searched for the reception. There was no one in the house. So we went on a hike. We had just ordered our dinner in Burrweiler, and we received a call from the hotel at 6:20, but we would like to check in the next half hour, otherwise a check-in would no longer be possible today. About Booking.com I volunteered for an approximate arrival time of 17:00 – 18:00. I was not aware that this is a mandatory time indication. Furthermore, we were informed that it would not be enoug...
Honestly, I won't. Remember my youth trips where the accommodation could cost nix. It was nice for us kids. Now to the castle... It has experienced a so-called renovation, more or less... Although there is a considerable renovation. It smells like an old man. It's like a trip to the past. The houseman, the only staff, was very busy making us right. Only for them the second star. She left us a nice breakfast on Sunday morning. Mattresses completely soft, who has it on the back... The bed squeaks at the smallest movement. You could do something out of the little ****, it has potential, would be a shame about it.
Rooms clean and reasonable. Staff friendly and helpful breakfast good and sufficient. Coffee very good. Parking directly in front of the hotel. Public transport (bus) only 3 minutes away. Just a few minutes to sell wine and pleasure. Hiking trails start nearby.
A very special hotel in a positive sense with soul, flair and history. The rooms are very nice and clean. Due to the thick walls the temperature was very pleasant even without air conditioning.

We went to dinner on Sunday. The food was great. You can sit very nicely in the courtyard. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Keep going. We'll be back.
