Wir waren zu zweit. bereits ein wenig über der Mittagszeit. Dennoch wurden wir vom Stamm-Kellner wie immer, höflich begrüsst und platziert. Kein rumgesäusel, keine unechte Höflichkeit, sondern menschliche familiäre Atmossphäre. Bedient wurden wir von einer Servicefachangestellten welche mir uns rumscherzte und mega nett war. Das Tartar war absoluter Wahnsinn. Scharf wie ich es bestellt hatte. Gute Portion (ich war pappsatt) und alles war tippitoppi. Zollikofen ? Far from the madding crowd, 15 minutes away from Berne 's main railway station and really worth the trip. A patchwork of stunning buildings, a synagogue, a castle, a jardin à la française with roses and box hedges, a sweet slope towards a mint coloured river called Aare. With a barge to take you across and a vast terrace. Almond trout, thick entrecôte and pike as the ultimate treat were on our menu, celebrating a triple birthday. Garden fresh salads, bread with butter and a very rare retsina tasting white wine from Valais called Marsanne. And a both ceremonious friendly service to feel like royalties. And a private car at your disposal to drive you back, should the night go on.....
The festive menu on Christmas Eve was super delicious, tasted very good, no waiting times for the different courses, quiet, pleasant atmosphere, great service with great wine advice for the courses, we'll be happy to come back
Having to wait far too long, a good hour for the food we ordered. The information was that a banquet was a good idea. Banquet is reserved? The manager did not apologize to us for the long waiting time. Not pleasant.

Very nice lunch with business colleagues. We did enjoy the menue of the day that was very nice and even the price was very fair. Definitiv a place to go for a business lunch.
